What Credit Waypoint collects, what we do not collect, and how to reach us.

Who we are

Credit Waypoint is the publisher of creditwaypoint.com. Questions about this page: hello@creditwaypoint.com.

What we collect

If you email us or use the contact form, we receive what you type: name, email address, and message. That mail is handled in Google Workspace at hello@creditwaypoint.com.

If you join the email list, we receive the address you type and, if you give it, a name. We use that only to send Credit Waypoint notes — map updates, fee-date changes, and new guides. We do not add you to the list unless you subscribe.

The list is stored with Beehiiv, which sends the mail. Beehiiv can see the address you gave us. Their policy is at beehiiv.com/privacy. We do not sell the list. You can leave it on every email or by writing hello@creditwaypoint.com.

The site is hosted on WP Engine and sits behind Cloudflare. Those companies receive standard server and security logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) so the site can stay up and stay blocked from obvious abuse.

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read. Google receives your IP address, browser, device, referring site, and pages you open on creditwaypoint.com. We use that to fix the site, not to sell a profile of you. Google’s own policy applies to what they store: policies.google.com/privacy.

Cookies

WordPress, WP Engine, and Cloudflare may set cookies needed to run the site (session, cache, security). Google Analytics also sets cookies so it can tell a new visit from a return visit. A Beehiiv embed may set a cookie so it knows a signup worked. We do not use those cookies to sell a list of names. You can block cookies in your browser; the public pages will still load.

Affiliate and outbound links

If you click an apply link, you leave this site and go to an issuer or an affiliate network. Their privacy policy applies on that page. We do not see your application.

What we do with mail

We read contact mail. We use it to answer you, to correct a page, or to add a vendor to the map if you asked us to. List mail is separate: it is only the Beehiiv newsletter you joined. We do not sell your email. We do not rent it.

We keep contact correspondence as long as we need it to run the desk, then we delete it when it is no longer useful. Beehiiv keeps list addresses until you unsubscribe or we shut the list down.

Sharing

We share data only with the processors named above (Google Workspace, WP Engine, Cloudflare, Google Analytics, and Beehiiv) to operate the site and send mail you asked for, or if the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

Google Analytics settings

We do not use Google Signals, ads personalization, or remarketing lists on this property. If that changes, this page will change first. Change the date at the bottom when you edit it.

Your requests

To see, correct, or delete mail you sent us, or to leave the list, write hello@creditwaypoint.com. If you are in a place with extra privacy rights, say so in the subject. We will answer.

Children

This site is for adults who hold or are considering business credit cards. We do not collect information from children.

Changes

If we start collecting more than this page describes, we will update this page first. The date at the bottom is the date we last edited it.
